I have a black thumb.
Plants see me and just die.
Do not ask me to plant sit, all your plants will be brown when you come home.
I've been wanting to use chalkboard paint FOREVER! So when I saw planters covered in it I knew I had to do this project.
I will say this. Thoroughly remove any stickers and their residue because it took me 10 coats of spraypaint to cover the residue of the price tag on this.
Dear .89 price tag, you irritated me greatly!
Meet Bernie. He's hanging out in his chalkboard pot ... it could become a coffin, but let's hope not!
I thought about leaving him here on this tree, but with the winds we've been having I didn't think that would last very long at all.
So I'm finally putting a glass plate I decoupaged with fabric to use.
Hopefully with the addition of an aqua pod from my friend Kellie he won't die too soon!
Ahhh....I need to talk to you about decoupaging fabric to glass. I have an idea percolating.....dangerous, I know.
