A shot of sunshine needed.

What do you mean I haven't blogged in a month?!

I was going to do better about that, wasn't I.

Yes.

I guess I'm not quite out of the funk I've been in for the past few months.  I'm trying not to be to hard on myself though.  A good friend reminded me that the past 6 months have brought more change and unexpected turn of events than maybe even my crazy lifestyle can handle with grace.

Winter isn't helping.

I feel like I need a shot of sunshine.  At least some spraypainting weather!!!

So how are things?

Well... I'm still temping, T is still going to school and working.

Once a week I go to my moms house and we sew.

We're obsessed with quilting right now.

I bought this quilt kit this summer off the clearance rack at JoAnns.

It took us 4 Friday nights but we finally finished and bound it.  This was our learning quilt, we learned a TON!

Here's my cutie patootie niece holding it up for us.

I'm already working on my next quilt, it's perfect because even in this tiny apartment there is always room for fabric and a sewing machine!
