Countdown to Valentines Day {mini envelopes}

 

Happy February 1st!

 

It's almost time for singles awareness day!

 

This will be the 13th valentines day I have spent with Mr. T, I haven't been single in a while!

 

I'm more excited than usual this year though, I think it's because we're oh so close to him being done with school and perhaps for the summer we will have a regular schedule and life can get back to "normal"; whatever that is.

 

Anyway, I wanted to amp up the countdown to V-day a little bit.

 

So I made a daily challenge countdown.

 

I saw these adorable heart envelopes on pinterest, unfortunately the link just goes to a picture so I can't give proper credit.  Did you come up with these? They are brilliant!

 

 

I used my trusty cricut to cut out a heart.  I just have the small version so these are made with the size dial set to 4.5"

 

 

I made a lot.

 

After some trial and error I realized that 3" was going to be the perfect fold line.

 

Using a bonefolder I simply scored the paper to create that line.

 

On the inside of the heart I wrote little goals for the day, acts of servics, challenges to meet.

 

 

Fold to close.

 

 

Number.

Repeat!
